Stereoboard.com can exclusively reveal that You Me At Six have finally confirmed details of their October 2011 UK tour, kicking off in Preston on October 8th.
The fast rising quintet make music with catchy melodies, snappy lyrics and hip-wriggling instrumentals. Breaking into the mainstream consciousness in 2007, the band were nominated for 'Best British Band' at the 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 Kerrang! Awards, winning in 2011. 2010 also saw You Me At Six win 'Best Single' at the Kerrang! Awards for their efforts with 'Liquid Confidence'.
You Me At Six will be performing at both the T in the Park and Sonisphere festivals this weekend, and are set to release their third album later this year. The new tour is to support the release of the album. YMAS were due to be touring in support of Blink-182 this month, but the UK tour dates were subsequently postponed until 2012 for the US punk rock band to complete work on their new album.

Tickets for You Me At Six's UK tour are onsale next Friday July 15th at 9am/9.30am, priced from £17.50 (£20 London) + fees.
