Punk Rock Supergroup Off! Announce First-Ever UK Dates Next Month

LA-based punk rock supergroup Off! – fronted by former Black Flag and Circle Jerks vocalist Keith Morris, along with members of the bands Rocket from the Crypt, Burning Brides, Redd Kross and Hot Snakes – are to play in the UK for the first time next month. In addition to festival appearances at Reading and Leeds, Hevy Music in Kent and Rebellion in Blackpool, the band will also be performing at a number of shows alongside fellow hardcore outfits Trash Talk and Fucked Up – see below for dates and tickets.

Off! were formed in 2009, when Morris and guitarist Dimitri Coats started working together on what was supposed to be a new Circle Jerks album. At the end of last year, the band released their debut album ‘First Four EPs’, which features 16 songs in 18 minutes.

Speaking about the formation of the band, Morris said: “I didn’t know what kind of ride it was going to be. But I walked away incredibly blown away. The intuition, the gut feeling, and the immediacy, it just blew up. The best way that I can describe it would be, with me coming from a band called Black Flag and the history that I have with Steven [Shane McDonald, bassist] having been in Redd Kross, and taking that vibe and mixing it up like Led Zeppelin had at their highest energy level.”
