Gangsta rap megastar 50 Cent is potentially upsetting millions of fans worldwide as he claims he will not release another album, following a dispute between himself and his record label Interscope Records.
Fiddy had apparently finished writing his album but will not put it or any other record out ever again, after disagreements between the label, which also boasts rappers Dr Dre and Eminem. Posting through his Twitter, he wrote: “I will not put out another album, they dropped the ball with me one time too many, I apologise to all my fans.”
The ‘In Da Club’ singer has been feuding with the record label for the past month because of the way they handled the run up to the release of his proposed fifth album. Earlier this year in June he wrote “Feels like they're moving in slow motion, My whole career I’ve been doing shit and they have been playing catch up ... THEY BETTER WAKE UP AND WORK.” And it seemed he has finally snapped, refusing to ever release a solo album again.
He did not, however, rule out the chance of compilations, duets, collaborations or production jobs in his future.
“Man I'm not releasing a album, I can't believe In
terscope is this fucked up right now ... I will work with other artists on their projects but I will not put out another album.”
