Californian punk-rockers Zebrahead have lined-up a December tour to promote last Friday’s release of their ninth studio album ‘Get Nice!’
The five-piece have just released the new album, their first since 2009’s cover album ‘Party Raid’ and their freshest new material since 2008’s Phoenix, and are coming to the UK for the first time in a couple of years. The band is scheduled to rock out eight venues across the country, playing their new material and their older classics to crowds early this December.
Frontman Ali Tabatabaee and the rest of the boys have been working on their new album since August last year, and had released two singles – ‘Ricky Bobby’ and ‘Get Nice!’ – in July. With their die-hard fans getting more and more agitated waiting for the release, the band finally put the record out a year after they began writing and production. Now their faithful UK fans have been treated to the announcement of a UK tour.
“Luckily,” said Tabatabaee, “We have the best diehard fans and every time we play a show, whether its support or headlining, they come to have a great time. It’s always high energy and complete madness, thanks to our fans.”
