Hard Rock Hell V, proudly sponsored by Classic Rock, Metal Hammer and Rock Radio will take place back at Prestatyn Sands, on 2nd/4th December 2011, actually, after last years sold out Thursday night, it will start on the 1st for the Die Hard HRH Loyal. Like last year, the Thursday night fancy dress debauchery will continue this year for an unforgettable rock ‘n’ roll experience.

The line up and theme has again been down to the punters vote (HRH Vets), which will be leaked out over the next few months, it will contain, Glam, Sleaze, NWOBHM, Young Blood, Thrash, Metal, Classic Rock and a touch of Blues. It will stage about 62 bands over the three days, so be rest assured you’ll get, yet again, another 360 HRH experience. Combine that with the crowd and camaraderie that goes down there and you get an idea what HRH is all about.

All four of HRH’s previous events have sold out in record speed and this one sold more than 40% in the first 6 hours of going on sale. HRH has had the honour of many legends and heroes over the years which have included, Twisted Sister, Saxon, Black Label Society, Thin Lizzy, Queensryche, W.A.S.P, Monster Magnet to name a few. This year will boast some special exclusives and one off performances.

The first batch of bands are now confirmed and to start with we have the hugely requested return of the quintessential Quireboys. Hot in from the states on demand are the mighty Tyketto as well as a rare appearance from Dan Baird (and Homemade sin) who will cover many musical exploits as well as a lot of the Georgia Satellites material. Homemade sin, includes some original members of the satellites. Finally, fresh from their 2010 successes, we open our wings to to our Finnish Friends, Reckless Love, who cant wait to knock you out in December.

Other bands confirmed for the line-up include Girlschool, Kontroband, The Treatment, Therapy, Little Ceasar and Michael Monroe.

This years HRH has been themed as “Village of the Damned”…again the peoples choice, so you can expect some wild dressing up all through the weekend. Only 85 rooms left! – only day tickets are available (£40 per day plus booking fee) www.hardrockhell.com
