The Union Announce Short Autumn UK Tour & Tickets

Luke Morley, formerly the guitarist for legendary UK rock band Thunder, and ex-Winterville vocalist/guitarist Peter Shoulder, collectively known as The Union, have announced plans for a short UK tour this Autumn.

After their most successful UK tour in their twenty-year history, Thunder disbanded back in 2009. Their final tour culminated in an emotional sold out show at Hammersmith Apollo. Peter Shoulder is one of only three British artists (the other two being Eric Clapton and Peter Green) to win a W.C. Handy Blues Foundation award, presented in Memphis in 2006 for co-writing the American Blues Song of the Year.

The Union formed and were named Best New Band of the Year at the 2010 Classic Rock Award, they went on to support Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake during their 2011 tours. Second album, 'Siren's Song', is expected to be released sometime this year.

The Union UK Tour Dates are as follows:

October 2011

Oct 20th - O2 Academy2 Newcastle
Oct 21st – O2 Academy, Islington, London
Oct 23rd - Fleece, Bristol
Oct 24th - Rock City, Nottingham

The Union Tickets for their Bristol show are onsale now. The Union Tickets for all other dates are onsale from 9am on Friday 19th August.
