The Chieftains Announce 2012 UK Tour - PRE-SALE TICKETS ONSALE NOW!

The Chieftains, six-time Grammy winners and world-renowned Irish traditional folk ensemble, have announced a UK tour to celebrate 40 years of their music! The Chieftains Tickets are onsale from 9am on Friday 2nd September, however, you can take advantage of pre-sale tickets now by clicking HERE.

Grammy-winning Irish musical group founded in 1962, The Chieftains are best known for being one of the first bands to make Irish traditional music popular around the world. With six Grammy Awards to their name, The Chieftains have been Grammy-nominated eighteen times and have also won an Emmy and a Genie and contributed tracks, including their highly-praised version of the song 'Women of Ireland', to Leonard Rosenman's Oscar-winning score for Stanley Kubrick's 1975 film Barry Lyndon.

2002 saw The Chieftains honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from BBC Radio 2.

June 13th - The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester
June 15th - Newcastle City Hall
June 16th - Clyde Auditorium, Glasgow
