Eminem Schedules Two Australian Shows Alongside Lil Wayne and Hilltop Hoods

Superstar rapper Eminem is to perform two massive shows in Australia alongside Lil Wayne and The Hilltop Hoods this December.
Following his summer festival appearances, including a lucrative £2million performance at V Festival, Slim Shady will head down under for stadium shows with Wayne, who has just been released from prison following a weapon offense.
Talking about Eminem’s troubled past, tour co-ordinator Paul Dainty revealed how the ‘Love the Way You Lie’ artist was booked for the big-scale gigs.
“We're in a different space with Eminem than we were ten years ago,” said Dainty. “He's crossed over to the mainstream to become a pop culture icon. I'm sure everybody made an offer because, let's face it, he’s one of the biggest superstars a promoter could land. He's iconic.
“We offered Eminem two shows knowing he doesn't want to tour. We could have done a show in every city, and New Zealand, but that's not what he's about. He comes in, does a show here, does a show there, and that's it.”
