London to Host 20th Anniversay Nirvana 'Nevermind' Exhibition

September 2011 marks 20 years since the release of Nirvana’s seminal album ‘Nevermind’, the record that forever changed the course of music history – and to celebrate this landmark occasion, London is to host a major exhibition: ‘In Bloom: The Nirvana Nevermind Exhibition’.

Celebrating the music and history of the Seattle grunge luminaries and highlighting the unique relationship this most influential of bands enjoyed with their UK fans, ‘In Bloom: The Nirvana Nevermind Exhibition’ will display an abundance of band memorabilia and other treasured artefacts - including a hoodie worn by Kurt for a Melody Maker photo-shoot, a piece of fret board from one of his guitars and replicas of Krist’s Gibson bass, drums and t-shirts, including much, much more.

The exhibition will run for two weeks only from Tuesday 13th September to Sunday 25th September and will be held at The Loading Bay Gallery, Unit 4- 5, Dray Walk, 91 Brick Lane, London, E1 6QL. Entry to the exhibition is free.

Alternatively, on the 22nd September, there will be a special evening for Nirvana fans. Limited to 100 people, the evening with feature an album playback and Q&A session with a special guest panel. Tickets are £15.
