First Aid Kit are a Swedish folk and indie-pop duo hailing from Stockholm. Formed in 2007, and consisting of sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg, FAK are known for their eclectic and unique mix of indie, psychedelica, Americana, and pop with folk.
Having made a name for themselves worldwide thanks to their YouTube channel, which is filled with music videos, original tracks and covers, the siblings drew the attention of big labels (as well as Jack White, who signed them up for a track on his label Third Man).
Originally releasing their music via Wichita Recordings, through which they put out their two debut albums, the band have now earned a deal with Columbia and put out their third collection ‘Stay Gold’ in summer 2014.
An excellent pair of live performers, they’ve performed at festivals like Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, and Bestival, and shared the stage with the likes of Rodriguez, Conor Oberst, and Lykke Li.
Following dates across the US, Australia, and the UK, First Aid Kit would release their brand new album, 'Ruins', in early 2018. They'll play UK festivals, European and North American tours, then back to the UK and Ireland in October for the Rebel Heart tour. Check below to find the dates and tickets through Stereoboard.

How much do you value authenticity in pop musicians? Does it matter that cockney anarchist wide boy Joe Strummer was a public school diplomat’s son? That one of the world’s most popular reggae bands, UB40, earned their stripes in the Working Men’s clubs of Birmingham? Or that First Aid Kit’s particular brand of Americana was honed in a Stockholm suburb?
