No Doubt Postpone Album Release Until at Least Next Year

American ska-punk icons No Doubt have announced to fans that their album is taking a little longer than expected to finish, and will see a release at some point next year.

The Californians hoped that their comeback album would be ready in time for Christmas, but it now looks like there’ll be no chance of it hitting shelves before January at the least. The reformed group have been working on the record since back in 2008, keeping fans drooling in anticipation of the chance to listen to new material from their favourites.

“Ideally our new record would be coming out this year,” the band said, “but it's just not ready yet. We don't want to rush this album just to get it out. This collection of songs means everything to us and our only priority right now is to make sure that it's the best album we can possibly make.

“There is still more work for us to do. We love our fans and are doing this for your ears and want you to know how much we appreciate your patience and support.”
