The Subways are to play a unique gig tonight, Thursday 15th September, at stunning Historic Fort in Koblenz, Germany. The headline set is being streamed live on their website HERE. The concert starts around 7.30pm UK (8.30pm Germany) so set your alarms and get yourself a few beers!
The Subways are currently in the middle of a European tour and kick-off their UK dates on Saturday, 17th September. Beginning in Oxford 02 Academy, the band will travel around the country on a 13-date trip which concludes in London on the 3rd of October. It is the Subways’ first full UK tour since 2008, and the band promise to return at full strength.
The Subways formed in 2003 and have been tearing up the UK alternative scene ever since. Although commercial success has been sparse for the band, they have garnered a cult following after putting on remarkable live shows – including Reading and Leeds festival performances so good they filled the second stage tent far beyond capacity, which resulted in the band earning main stage performances in subsequent years. It is has been three years since the Subways last toured the UK, so make sure you don’t miss their return to the British scene.
