Surfer Blood to Release New EP Ahead of The Vaccines Support Date

Floridian indie rockers Surfer Blood are to release their new four-track EP ‘Tarot Classics’ on 24th October. The EP is the band’s first release since their debut album ‘Astro Coast’, which came out last year to widespread critical acclaim.

Surfer Blood, who toured the UK earlier this year, will be performing at London’s O2 Brixton Academy on Thursday 8th December as support to The Vaccines. This date will be followed by the band’s appearance at All Tomorrow’s Parties Nightmare Before Christmas on Friday 9th December alongside Les Savy Fev, who will be curating the Minehead event. Surfer Blood have previously toured with the likes of Interpol and The Drums and are currently on tour in the US with The Pixies.

The ‘Tarot Classics EP’ will be released on vinyl, digital and CD formats, and will include bonus remixes by Totally Sincere aka Connor Hanwick of The Drums and Peggy Wang of The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, San Francisco-based Speculator, School Of Seven Bells and Allen Blickle.

The track ‘Miranda’ can be heard on Surfer Blood’s Facebook page and ‘Voyager Reprise’ will be unlocked once the page reaches 37,000 “likes”.
