Gary Numan Announces New December Tour Dates & Tickets

New Wave pioneer Gary Numan has announced a string of tour dates in December following the release of his latest album last week. ‘Dead Son Rising’ was released on 24th October and is Numan’s first original album in five years, following 2006’s ‘Jagged’. A video for the album track ‘The Fall’ can be viewed below.
In addition to his new tour dates, Gary Numan will also be performing at the Battles-curated ATP Nightmare Before Christmas in Minehead on Saturday 10th December. See below for tour dates and tickets.
Speaking about ‘Dead Son Rising’, Numan said: “The original ideas that sparked off these songs are now barely visible. It’s grown into another animal, something more experimental.”
Gary Numan’s career has spanned nearly 35 years, during which time he has influenced the likes of Prince, Nine Inch Nails and Kanye West. In 2009, he released a special 30th anniversary edition of his classic third album ‘The Pleasure Principle’, which features the hit single ‘Cars’. At the height of his career during the late ‘70s and early ‘80s, Gary Numan achieved five Top 10 albums and numerous Top 40 singles. His music has been sampled by a number of different artists such as the Sugababes, who used a portion of his track ‘Are Friends Electric?’ on their 2001 hit ‘Freak Like Me’.
