Radiohead Announce February And March US Tour

English rockers Radiohead have finally announced a run of US tour dates set for 2012 – four years since they last tore the roof off an American venue.

The band have scheduled 10 dates, which include stops in Miami, Florida and Houston, Texas, and is the first tour in support of their latest album ‘The King of Limbs’, which came out way back in February – making it over a year before they decided to tour the record. Supporting the band will be Oklahoma indie group Other Lives.

The US dates will apparently precede a UK tour, with guitarist Ed O’Brien telling BBC6Music that they’ll be spending most of 2012 in the tour bus: “We'll be on the road from the end of February to November and we’ll be playing in both the UK and US, the usual ports of call.”

O’Brien continued on to explain how this tour would differ from those in the past: “Last time we went out it felt very much like In Rainbows and a greatest hits... this time it's going to be predominantly from this record and the last record and then see which songs fit around that.”

If you’re a Radiohead fan in the US, make sure you get yourself to one of their shows – check the dates and details below to get tickets.
