Earlier this week legendary comedian Billy Connolly announced dates for his 2012 'The Man' UK Tour, however, some fans have been voicing their disappointed after learning that the Scottish comedian will not be performing any homecoming shows during the tour.
The statement read:
“In response to everyone who has expressed disappointment that Billy isn’t performing in other parts of the UK during his upcoming tour – we would like to point out that Billy’s other commitments only allow him to schedule concert performances for a duration of 8-10 weeks consecutively - and consequently Billy has always nominated that concert performances in Scotland, Ireland and London should constitute individual tours.
Please watch this space for news of Billy’s future tours."
Having enjoyed a long-standing career, Billy "The Big Yin" Connolly has toured relentlessly and is regarded as one of the world’s best-loved comedians. His live shows have been entertaining audiences around the world for over thirty years and he has become a familiar sight on many big television talk shows both in the UK and in America.
