Radiohead Announce 2012 European Tour Dates & Tickets

Radiohead have announced some long-awaited 2012 European tour dates.

Last week the band scheduled 10 dates in the US, including stops in Miami, Florida and Houston, Texas, which form part of the first tour in support of their latest album ‘The King of Limbs’, which came out back in February. Supporting the band in the US will be Oklahoma indie group Other Lives.

Scheduling some mainland European dates for June 2012, the already-confirmed US dates will apparently precede a UK tour, with guitarist Ed O’Brien telling BBC6Music that they’ll be spending most of 2012 in the tour bus: “We'll be on the road from the end of February to November and we’ll be playing in both the UK and US, the usual ports of call.”

O’Brien continued on to explain how this tour would differ from those in the past: “Last time we went out it felt very much like In Rainbows and a greatest hits... this time it's going to be predominantly from this record and the last record and then see which songs fit around that.”

It's very likely Radiohead will announce their UK tour dates next week. Check back to Stereoboard for updates.
