Singer-songwriter, virtuoso fiddler, and former Mercury Award nominee Seth Lakeman has announced a handful of 2012 UK shows.
The celebrated folkster recently released a video for 'Blacksmith's Prayer', the second track to go online from his soon to be released new album 'Tales From The Barrel House'.
Available for pre-order exclusively from www.sethlakeman.co.uk, a pre-order offer of the first 1000 orders coming signed last week crashed both Seth's and Proper Records websites, with all copies sold within minutes.
Nominated for the Mercury Prize in 2005 for his 'Kitty Jay' album, 'Tales from the Barrel House' see's Seth returning to his Devon roots. Recorded at Morwellham Quay mining port on the north bank of the River Tamar, tracks were recorded in workshops located in the quay. In addition to his 2012 tour, Seth will be touring the UK this December.
