Beyoncé Once Again Rubbishes Fake Pregnancy Claims

Superstar diva Beyoncé has once again hit out at claims that she faked or exaggerated her pregnancy while on an American television show.

The singer, who revealed her pregnancy at MTV Music Video Award ceremony earlier this year, before putting on a show-stopping performance watched by her proud husband Jay-Z. She then made an appearance on a US chat and interview show, where she was looking visibly later in pregnancy than she had during the MTV awards shortly before it. After seeing the larger bump, fans and press went wild with their accusations that the bump was a prosthetic one and that she had faked or blown-up the pregnancy in an attempt to promote herself.

But, once again, the singer denied any bending of the truth and joked about reporters in a video shot during her ‘Countdown’ video shoot, mockingly saying ‘Oh baby, oh baby’ like the newspaper headlines read. The video was uploaded a couple of days ago, and you can see it below.

“Hello, it is September 23,” Beyoncé says during the video. “Oh baby, oh baby, oh baby, oh baby. This was on the cover of the Daily News. Right now I'm actually shooting the video for 'Countdown' and I'm six months pregnant, pretending that my stomach is flat in body suits. Thank god you can't tell from the front, but when I turn to the side, oh baby, oh baby.”
