One Direction: "We'd Love To Work With Dappy On Our Next Album"

It appears as though an X-Factor abomination could be on the way... as it was revealed that pop boyband One Direction want to work with N-Dubz rapper Dappy on their next album.

The floppy-haired teens confessed that they were massive fans of, Dappy’s debut solo single ‘No Regrets’, which hit shelves earlier this year in September, and went on to tell the Daily Star that they see Dappy as an ideal collaborator for when they decide to start penning their second studio album.

One Direction’s Liam Payne told the Daily Star: “We'd love to work with Dappy on our next album. As soon as we heard his single 'No Regrets' we all fell in love with it. It took over the number one position from us, but we were glad.” His bandmate Zayn Malik added: “We would loved to have had Dappy on our first album but it was too late.”

The band have already released their first LP ‘Up All Night’, after signing a £2million record contract with SyCo despite finishing 3rd on the show. It hit #2 in the UK, although it managed to top the Swedish charts as well as hitting #2 in the Irish, Scottish and New Zealand charts.
