Happy Mondays Getting Back Together?

Musical Mancunian Shaun Ryder has strongly hinted that his band Happy Mondays will be reuniting for the third time, after their brief stints back together in 1999 and 2004.

The star, who featured on last year’s ‘I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here’, said that next year was a year to ‘look forward’ to and that he had been speaking with some of his ex-bandmates, although he wouldn’t reveal who.

Ryder told The Sun: “I won't say which members of the original line-up I've spoken to but there is a lot to look forward to next year.”

Bizarre, the Sun’s gossip magazine, also last week claimed that Ryder was offered a large sum of money to get the band back together in a similar way to the Stone Roses – and it appears he may have taken the offer up.
