Reckless Love, Jettblack & The Treatment To Line Up Together For HMV Next Big Thing Concert

Rockers Reckless (pictured) Love, Jettblack and The Treatment are to line up together at the Garage in North London early next year. Playing under the ‘HMV Next Big Thing’ banner, and having seen all three of these excellent bands myself, I can personally promise you an evening of no-holds-barred rock ‘n’ roll excess.

Confirmed for Thursday 2nd February, this special one-off show will mark the first time these three bands have appeared together on the same bill. Arranged via the Spinefarm record label and HMV, the retailer's annual ‘Next Big Thing’ event will see nine UK venues hosting a series of exciting three-band bills from February 2nd – 12th.

High-Kickin’ Reckless Love are hard rockers from Finland who burst onto the UK scene in 2010 with their debut self-titled album. Inspired by an era when rock bands looked like rock bands, Reckless Love are fronted by former Crash Diet singer Olli Herman and come with a sense of swagger, plus a deep regard for the icons of ’80s rock and metal.

To date, the four have completed two headline UK tours, appeared at Download & Firefest, both in 2010, and most recently released their second studio album, ‘Animal Attraction’, which picks up where the debut left off.

ImageYoung UK rockers Jettblack see rock ‘n’ roll as entertainment – a way of partying hard and meeting those girls your parents warned you about. The four have played UK shows under the ‘Kerrang!’ banner and appeared at top UK festivals such as Download, T In The Park, Hard Rock Hell & Sonisphere, supported by 2010 debut album – ‘Get Your Hands Dirty’ (small pic) – that continues to act as the soundtrack to many a wild Friday night out. With their second studio album due early in 2012, preceded by a brand new single/video, Jettblack will continue to break hearts & paint towns red!

Hailing from Cambridge, The Treatment recently released their debut studio album, ‘This Might Hurt’. The 14-tracker contains their first single/video, ‘Drink, Rock, Fight’, and the group are currently causing a buzz in both the UK & international media, combining classic influences (early Def Leppard, AC/DC, Guns n’ Roses) with a raw, youthful energy. As a result, their name has appeared on bills alongside Black Stone Cherry, Motorhead and Alice Cooper (the latter on a full European tour), not to mention the Sonisphere & High Voltage festivals in the UK, with Hard Rock Hell now ticked off, too. Having just completed their first UK headline tour, supported by current single, 'The Doctor', the band now have sights set on the US and Japan.
