Madonna Pens Three-Album Deal With Interscope Records

American singing icon Madonna has reportedly signed a three-album record deal with Interscope Records, the same label as superstars such as Enrique Inglesias, Blink-182 and Lady Gaga.

The ‘Like a Virign’ singer has been working on her 12th studio album for the past year, and has set a spring 2012 release date for the record. The deal is apparently worth $1million per album, and will not interfere with any live plans Madonna has, as she will remain tied with Live Nation for all of her tour business.

With the singer now age 53, some fans may have been wondering how long Madonna will keep putting out new material – but their concerns have now been eased by the news that Madge will release at least another three albums.

“It's just about keeping relevance so that she can tour,” a source told the New York Post. “She is still in the demo phase, but the idea is to get the first album out early next year.”

The star had also been working on composing tracks for W.E, a film about a New York woman’s obsession with King Edward VIII’s romance with Wallis Simpson. She has already previewed a song (‘Masterpiece’) from the film, which is set to play in the film’s credits, and has revealed that it’ll feature on her new album.
