Anja McCloskey Unveils Video For New Single 'A Kiss' - Watch Now

Southampton-based singer, writer and multi-instrumentalist Anja McCloskey returns on 16th January with her new single, ‘A Kiss,’ – the follow up to the acclaimed ‘And Her Head’.

Featuring Anja’s trademark accordion, along with violin, double bass and guitar, ‘A Kiss’ is a mix of traditional folk, alternative pop and classical, with its bold arrangement, punchy instrumentals and Anja’s enticing vocals, backed by those of Thomas Tantrum’s David Miatt.

“A Kiss is about someone who is only concerned with their own feelings and actions, and not the effect they are having on others,” says Anja. “So I guess the song is even a little angry…but in a very melodic way.”

Check out the video for 'A Kiss' below.

Anja is also working with artist, Joe McDonald on a stop motion animation for understated B-Side ‘Black Coffee.’ Watch this space for news on both!
