Sinead O'Connor Performs At Dublin New Year's Eve Concert - Watch Now

A video of iconic Irish singer-songwriter Sinead O’Connor performing new song 'Lay Your Head Down' has been released on YouTube. The stunning live performance was filmed on New Year’s Eve at Dublin’s Concert Hall. Composed by Brian Byrne, with lyrics by Glenn Close, 'Lay Your Head Down' has been nominated at The Golden Globes.

Sinead's brand new studio album ‘How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?’ is released through One Little Indian on February 20th 2012. The album is preceded by the single ‘The Wolf Is Getting Married’ on February 13th.
 
Her ninth studio album, and the latest release in a career spanning 25 years and millions of record sales worldwide, ‘How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?’ is as showstopping a performance as her silver jubilee deserves, and ranks as one of her best and most confident pieces of work so far.

Sinead O'Connor performs "Lay Your Head Down" with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, with composer Brian Byrne conducting from the piano and Joanne Quigley the solo violinist. The performance was filmed at the National Concert Hall, Dublin, on 31st December 2011 as part of the RTÉ CO's New Year's Eve concert. Video by Colm Flynn.
