Bowerbirds Announce Details Of May UK Tour & New Album

Anticipation is building around the release of Bowerbirds third LP 'The Clearing' in early March (via Dead Oceans). The album's epic opening track 'Tuck The Darkness In' went straight to Number One on Hype Machine when released online last month, whetting people's appetites for the release.
In other good news the band have just announced a four-date UK tour for early May, performing in Leeds, Manchester, Brighton and London.

'The Clearing' is the third album by Bowerbirds, and as is often the case for bands that have found steady success, they had more time and better resources to make it. This is a bigger record, with bolder sounds, a broader scope, and more complex songs. "Tuck The Darkness In" for example, surges in its final two minutes with a wall of electric guitars and drums, while other tracks feature restless vibraphones and piano.
