Seether Announce UK Release Of New Album 'Holding Onto Strings Better Left To Fray' & UK Live Dates

South African rockers Seether are to release their brand new studio album, 'Holding Onto Strings Better left To Fray' on 5th March. The band are also set to tour the UK in March 2012, supporting 3 Doors Down on their Spring UK tour.
'Holding Onto Strings Better Left To Fray' was released to critical acclaim in the US in May last year. The debut single from the album, 'Country Song', spent an amazing 11 weeks at Number One (on Active Rock radio) over the course of the year and recently achieved Gold status for sales of over 500,000 units digitally by the RIAA. In addition, 'Country Song' was the Number One most played song at Active Rock radio for the year 2011, outdistancing such acts as Foo Fighters, Staind and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Total active rock spins were 52,361, outdistancing the next closest song by almost 10,000 spins.
'Country Song' gets a UK release on 27th February. Check out the video for the track below.
'Holding Onto Strings Better Left To Fray' was released in the US in May and debuted at Number Two on the Billboard Top 200 and is the band’s highest album debut to date. The album has scanned over 250,000 copies since its release to date. The band’s next USA single 'Tonight' has also gone No 1 on Active Rock Radio – the first time the band has had consecutive Number One singles at the format.
Seether has spent most of 2011 out on the road in support of their latest release and look to continue the trend in 2012 supporting 3 Doors Down on their Spring UK tour.
