Beady Eye And Radiohead Top Vinyl Sale Charts

English rockers Radiohead and Beady Eye have claimed the top spot in the vinyl sales charts for 2011, with the bands both earning the Best Selling Album and Best Selling Single respectively.

Liam Gallagher’s new project Beady Eye earned the top single spot with their debut track ‘The Roller’, and its follow-up ‘Millionaire’ grabbed the second spot. Radiohead’s eighth studio album ‘The King of Limbs’ managed to take the top album spot, closely followed by Liam’s brother Noel, who’s eponymous debut album with his new band the High Flying Birds took second place.

Superstar soul singer Adele managed to get third spot with her huge-selling second album ‘21’, which just adds to the millions of records she sold all over the world. Morrissey also managed a podium finish after his single ‘Glorious Glue’ took third. Completing the top five for the singles sales was another Beady Eye track, ‘The Beat Goes On’, and sibling Noel’s single ‘The Death of Me and You’.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds had an extremely successful debut with their first record, and became one of the highest selling acts of the year.
