Sea of Bees Announce New Album ‘Orangefarben’ + UK Tour Dates

Californian singer-songwriter Julie Baenziger – aka Sea of Bees – has released details of her second album ‘Orangefarben’, which is due out on 9th April. The follow-up to her 2011 debut ‘Songs for the Ravens’ will be preceded by the single ‘Broke’, which is available to listen to below.

Sea of Bees has also announced a UK tour for April, including a date at London’s Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen, when Baenziger will be performing with a full live band. See below for all dates.

Sea of Bees debut album ‘Songs for the Ravens’ was released at the beginning of last year and was followed by tours with Smoke Fairies, John Grant and Vetiver. The new album ‘Orangefarben’ – German for “the colour of orange” – features 11 tracks, including a cover of John Denver’s ‘Leaving on a Jet Plane’.
