Islet To Support Debut Album 'Illuminated People' With May UK Tour

To celebrate the release of their debut album 'Illuminated People' last week, Islet have announced their first live dates for 2012.

Spending the summer of 2011 playing festivals including Primavera, Leeds and Reading and Bestival, Islet entertained crowds with ritualistic chants, sometimes delivered away from the song being played on stage; at other times they were seen meandering off into the audience.

Islet have a vision of limitless possibilities in the joy of exploration. That’s what 'Illuminated People' is; an album that drips with pride and the refusal to stand still. Islet will be supporting the album on the road in May and June.

Islet 2012 UK Tour Dates are as follows:

May 25th - Liverpool, Kazimier
May 26th - Glasgow, Captains Rest
May 27th - Newcastle, Cluny 2
May 28th - Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
May 29th - Sheffield, The Harley
May 30th - London, Cargo
May 31st - Cardiff, Clwb Ifor Bach
June 1st - Birmingham, Rainbow
