Wet Nuns Announce 'Throttle' UK Tour

Following Wet Nuns being tipped as one of NME’s top 20 "Bands To Look Out For in 2012”, having the most shared video on NME.com on the day of release, and being remixed by Arctic Monkeys' Matt Helders, the death-blues duo have now announced thier 20-date 'Throttle' tour for February and March.

It’s been a crazy start to 2012 for death-blues punk duo Wet Nuns. The Sheffield two-piece have been thrilling crowds in venues around the UK with their hell-bent explosion of songs about “women, death and beer”.

Stomach-churning guitars and downright ugly drumming combine to produce their modern lo-fi, blues-stoner-punk sound, with their recent single ‘Heavens Below’ being everything you’d expect from this big-riffing, crowd-surfing, cursing, rock duo. The single is also available as a free download, along with a remix by Arctic Monkeys’ Matt Helders from www.wetnuns.com now. Check out the video below.

Check back to Stereoboard for some exciting news on the release of the title track of the tour, ‘Throttle’, coming very soon.
