2000 Trees Makes Major Line-Up Announcement

Everyone’s favourite UK festival (if it’s not yours then it should be), 2000 Trees has announced a fairly large amount of brilliant bands that will be playing this year’s festival. Last week we were treated to news of the Thursday early entry line-up (featuring the likes of Imperial Leisure, Tall Ships and Tellison) and now the fine chaps in charge of the Gloucestershire based event have blown our socks off with the latest confirmed acts.

Firstly, Friday’s main stage headliners will be none other than electronica/post-rock geniuses 65daysofstatic who, in case you didn’t know, are probably one of the most absurdly brilliant live acts on the face of the planet. If they are not your thing though do not fear because Pulled Apart by Horses will be doing their thing over on The Cave stage at the same time. To top things off nicely, Scotland’s finest exports of recent times, The Xcerts, will be headlining the Leaf Lounge stage also on the Friday. Now if that three way headliner clash was not enough to make you sit up and think “wow, this festival must be pretty amazing” then get a load of the other bands confirmed. The likes of Rolo Tomassi, Turbowolf, Brontide, Johnny Foreigner, My First Tooth and Freeze the Atlantic have all been slotted into the bill to provide the start to what is surely going to be another fantastic weekend down at Upcote Farm.

So with things already heating up in the line-up stakes it would be wise to get your tickets for this year’s events sooner rather than later. Head to www.twothousandtreesfestival.co.uk if you are interested. More bands will be announced soon.
