Blur To Headline Olympics Closing Ceremony Concert At London's Hyde Park

Blur have just confirmed details of a massive Summer show headlining the Olympics' Closing Ceremony Celebration Concert in Hyde Park on 12th August. The Specials and New Order have been confirmed as Special Guests for the concert.
Fans were informed of Blur's midnight announcement via the band's Official Facebook Page yesterday. The post read: “Brits Day tomorrow. Main show on ITV1....continuing on ITV2 afterwards. Live news at midnight tonight.....as usual you will hear it here first.”
Blur have just confirmed the news via another post on their Facebook Page, stating: "We're rowing in.. going for gold.. grabbing the baton.. for the high jump.. No, hang on, is that right? Fact is, Blur have accepted the invite to headline the Olympics' Closing Ceremony Celebration Concert in Hyde Park on 12th August."
Both The Specials and New Order have been confirmed as Special Guests for the show.
In other news, Blur are to play the longest live set in the history of the BRIT Awards tonight after they are honoured with the Outstanding Contribution To Music Award. The Blur set is to be 11 minutes, longer than another other past recipient of the award.
