New Example Record To Feature 'Metal And Grunge Riffs'

British singer-rapper-songwriter Example has given fans a fresh update about his forthcoming new album – and revealed that it was full of ‘lots of metal and grunge riffs’.
Example has been hard at work in the studio making sure his fourth studio album, the follow-up to last year’s ‘Playing in the Shadows’, is finished on time and by schedule. Posting through his Twitter, the star has been making sure his fans know what he’s doing and what they can be expect when his album drops – and this latest tweet suggests that there’ll be some serious headbanging at his future gigs.
“Productive day in the studio today,” Example posted, “I've got a short list of three songs for the next single. Will be out in June I reckon. Recording electric guitars all day tmrw for 5 new songs. Lots of metal/grunge riffs on the next album.”
Example recently signed a record deal with Mercury, a subsidiary of Universal Records, to release his material in the UK. Speaking of the move, the rapper said: “I'm pleased to have signed to a major label like Mercury/Universal in the US. It was important to me to sign with someone who understands not only my ambitions but also the way I work. I want to do it on my own terms; I enjoy a good challenge and can’t wait to get started.”
