Pop megastar Kylie Minogue has been added to the bill for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert in London this Summer.
The concert, which takes place outside Buckingham Palace on the Queen's birthday, will also see newly-announced chart veteran Stevie Wonder perform along with Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Tom Jones and Sir Elton John who were confirmed for the show three weeks ago.
Taking place on Monday 4th June, the celebration concert of the Queen's 60 years on the throne will be attended by The Duke Of Edinburgh as well as other members of the Royal Family.
Speaking about the upcoming show, Kylie, who has performed for Prince Charles in the past, commented: “I’m honoured to be invited to perform at the Diamond Jubilee Concert. To share the stage in front of Buckingham Palace with music legends including Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Tom Jones and Elton John in celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee is very exciting.”
Stevie Wonder, who will include his worldwide hit song 'Happy Birthday' in the show, revealed: “It’s an honour to celebrate The Queen. It’s an honour to celebrate Great Britain. The time is overdue that I meet Her Majesty.”
Those wishing to attend the special concert can still apply for free tickets until Friday at www.bbc.co.uk/diamondjubilee.
