2000 Trees Announces More Bands

In case the last 2000 Trees announcement (featuring the likes of 65daysofstatic, Rolo Tomassi and The Xcerts) wasn’t enough for you, the good folks in charge of the Cheltenham based festival have given us another fourteen acts to salivate over ahead of the festival itself on 12th to 14th July.

Getting the most attention from this batch will be Gallows, who will co-headline The Cave stage with Pulled Apart by Horses on the Friday night. With new singer Wade McNeil (ex-Alexisonfire) leading the way, the Watford ruffians will make an intriguing addition to the bill. On a similar page, musically, are Welsh hardcore act Bastions, whose “Hospital Corners” full-length last year was one of the most searingly addictive things to come out of heavy British music in ages. Other additions include We Were Promised Jetpacks, Hymns, Sharks, Gallops, Spycatcher and The Zico Chain.

It has also been confirmed that 2000 Trees have now sold out, in record time, of early entry tickets for their Thursday night. Unlucky to those who have missed out, as we’re pretty confident the yet to be announced headliner is going to be someone pretty special. Organiser Andy Rea said “We’re delighted that Early Entry tickets have sold out in record time, especially as we’ve still got so many bands to announce. It’s looking like another record-breaking year for what has become a firm favourite festival among fans of new and underground British music.”

2000 Tickets for the rest of the festival are still on sale but Trees looks set to sell out quicker than ever before so we’d advise you to get in now if you want to be rocking with the best of us in Gloucestershire this summer. Click Here to Compare & Buy 2000 Trees Tickets
