Travis Barker Remixes Cypress Hill And Rusko's 'Roll It Light It' Track - Listen Now

With rumours tweeted, posted and published throughout the Internet about a possible partnership, Hip-hop legends Cypress Hill and Dubstep producer/DJ Rusko have finally announced the release of their collaborative effort Cypress x Rusko, out this April. Now, we can show you the brand new Travis Barker remix of their first single ‘Roll It Light It’.

Barker’s remix offers a slightly more upbeat and faster version of the track, which, coming from a rock and roll drummer, is what his fans would have expected. You can check out the alternative take on the track embedded below.

Out this April, the original Cypress x Rusko EP features the striking, signature sound of Cypress Hill alongside Rusko’s unmistakable, 140bpm dubstep beats - the 5-track release truly shows the full capabilities of two musical pioneers combining forces to create yet another raw and unfiltered sound.

“I think dubstep is a natural progression of hip-hop,” says Sen Dog. “Especially the way that we formulated it with Rusko, there’s definitely some roughness to it.”

Rusko added: “It excited me so much when I received the acappellas because sometimes I’d been away for a week and I’d finally get a Wi-Fi connection. The excitement would keep me awake all night feverishly working on the track.”
