Zayn Mailk has been reunited with boyband One Direction following the unfortunate and sudden death of his Auntie, which caused him to briefly fly back from the group’s first ever US tour.
The boys have been touring the US alongside their American counterparts Big Time Rush, a boyband who stemmed from a Nickelodeon television show of the same name. They’ve been having a brilliant time on the tour, with one paper even suggesting that they were outshining the headline act at the shows.
But, Zayn’s auntie sadly died at the beginning of March, meaning the singer had to leave the group briefly and fly back to the UK to attend her funeral. Now though, after a few days back in Blighty, Malik’s made his way back across the pond and will be performing alongside his bandmates in Nashville, Texas tonight.
Writing through Twitter, Zayn said: “Back in the US can't wait to see the boys hopefully they haven't missed me too much aha ! :D x x,” before his bandmate Harry Styles posted a picture of the singer with the caption ‘Like he never left.”
