Mike And The Mechanics Announce Summer 2012 UK Tour & Tickets

Rock supergroup Mike And The Mechanics have unveiled dates for a string of UK Summer shows in June and July. Tickets for Mike And The Mechanics are onsale this Friday at 9am.

Following a six-year hiatus and a massive reunion world tour with Genesis, Mike Rutherford has joined forces with one of the UK's most successful R&B acts Andrew Roachford, and Canadian-born actor and singer Tim Howar for a new generation of Mike & The Mechanics.

Originally formed in 1984, Mike & The Mechanics have sold over 10 million records worldwide. You may recall classics from their back catalogue such as 'Silent Running', 'All I Need Is A Miracle', 'Over My Shoulder' and the huge hit single 'The Living Years'.

April last year Mike And The Mechanics release 'The Road', their seventh studio album. It was the first Mike And The Mechanics album released following the breakup of the original band.

Mike And The Mechanics 2012 UK Tour Dates are as follows:

June 26th - O2 Academy Newcastle
June 27th - O2 Academy Glasgow
June 30th - O2 Academy Birmingham
July 2nd - O2 Academy Bournemouth
July 3rd - Falmouth Princess Pavilion
July 4th - St David’s Hall Cardiff
July 18th - O2 Shepherds Bush Empire London
