Foe Announces Release Of New Single 'A Handsome Stranger Called Death’

Thursday, 22 March 2012 Written by Jon Stickler

‘A Handsome Stranger Called Death’, the second single from Foe’s acclaimed debut ‘Bad Dream Hotline’ out now, is set for release Monday 30th April.

ImageArt school dropout, pensive introvert, grunge obsessive, fan of dressing-up in brightly coloured wigs: Foe is all of these things and more.

‘Bad Dream Hotline’, produced by Entrepreneurs, mixed by Dan Grech (The Vaccines, Howling Bells) and Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, Foals) is an infusion of FOE’s twisted fairy tales that mirror her real life experiences, nightmares and subsequent vulnerability. New single ‘A Handsome Stranger Called Death’, addresses the morbid fear of death that's haunted Foe since she was a child.

Adding to a catalogue of remixes for previous singles ('Unknown Mortal Orchestra', 'Ghostpoet', 'Shabazz Palaces'), Foe has enlisted Maria Minerva and Com Truise to rework ‘A Handsome Stranger'.

Following her January UK tour which included dates with Pure Love - further 2012 live dates will be announced shortly!
