Keane Debut Music Video For New Single 'Silenced By The Night' - Watch Now

Keane have premičred the music video for their brand new single 'Silenced By The Night', released on 30th April. 'Silenced By The Night' is the first single to be taken from their highly anticipated fourth studio album 'Strangeland' which is released on 7th May through Island Records.
The video was shot by renowned rock music video director Christopher Sims in a lime salt mine in Austin, Texas. It follows the story of two friends on a road trip in real time, whose feelings for each other genuinely develop from friendship to falling in love.
To mark the release of the single Tom Chaplin and Tim Rice-Oxley will play an acoustic set at Rough Trade East (London) on 21st April as part of Record Store Day.
Speaking about the gig, Tim Rice-Oxley said: "When I think of a record shop I think of rummaging through bins of second-hand vinyl, ending up with an arm-load of stuff I'd always meant to get round to listening to but always forgot to buy. Then I realise that I'm loving the CD that's playing on the shop's hi-fi and I can go and ask the guys behind the desk what it is, learn about a new band perhaps, maybe even make a friend! For me David's Music in Letchworth is the indie shop I've spent the most time in, and I've been massively inspired by music I've heard and bought in there; before that it was Mrs Yarrington's in Battle, and more recently the tiny but excellent Union Music in Lewes."
Keane marked their long awaited return in March with two sold-out fan shows at their local venue the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill and their first ever performances at SXSW Festival. They've also announced a UK tour for May and June.
