Whitney Houston Film Trailer Unveiled - Watch Now

The trailer for late star singer Whitney Houston’s last ever big screen movie has surfaced online, two months after the singer was tragically found dead in her hotel bathtub.

‘Sparkle’ is a remake of the 1976 classic, and sees Houston playing the role of mother to three girls who form a pop group. The battle deals with the group’s struggles with fame and drug abuse – a story close to Houston’s own.

It would have been Houston’s first film since ‘Rodger’s & Hammerstein’s Cinderella’, which came out in 1997, and over 20 years since her seminal role in ‘The Bodyguard.’ Houston also worked as an executive producer for the film.

The first preview of the film was shown on NBC’s Today Show earlier this week on Monday, and showcases Houston telling her daughters: “I always knew you had the gift.” You can check out the trailer below.
