Sweden's Takida Announce Release Of UK Debut Single 'You Learn' - Listen Now

Following the great success of their recent UK tour with 3 Doors Down, Takida prepare to unleash their debut UK single, ‘You Learn’, released on May 7th and taken from the forthcoming UK album, ‘The Burning Heart’.

With no 6-figure budgets to blow open the doors of the Top Ten, Sweden’s Takida have become genuine shooting stars. Fact is; above all else, these are five guys who focus all their attention on writing great songs. In 2006 the single, ‘Losing’ entered the Swedish charts at Number Two and stayed Top Ten for weeks on end and the album it was taken from, ‘Make You Breathe’, ultimately became the best-selling rock album in Sweden that year.

2007 saw the follow-up album ‘Bury The Lies’ go one step further with both the album and the single ‘Curly Sue’ rocketing straight to the respective Number One spots! The single stayed at the top position on the national radio charts for ten weeks, making it the most-played radio song in 2008 – little wonder then that the band was nominated for two Grammys sending the album to Platinum status. Four further Number One singles followed, ‘Handlake Village’, ‘The Things We Owe’, ‘Never Alone Always Alone’ and this forthcoming UK release ‘You Learn’.

Fast forward to March 2012 and Takida enters the UK market for the first time touring with Seether and 3 Doors Down including a show at the Hammersmith Apollo. "Those dates exceeded all our expectations,” says Vocalist Robert Pettersson, “It was one of the best touring experiences so far. The UK rocks!"
