We The Kings Make Acoustic Track ‘Every Single Dollar’ Available As Free Download To UK Fans

Wednesday, 18 April 2012 Written by Jon Stickler

With over 3 million track sales in the US to date, Florida quartet We The Kings are turning their attention to the UK. Having already confirmed a tour that encompasses shows as support to Simple Plan as well as three additional headline dates, the band will give away an acoustic version of the summery upbeat track ‘Every Single Dollar’ as a free download to their UK fans via their official Facebook page.

The full band version of ‘Every Single Dollar’ features on the band’s recently released album ‘Sunshine State of Mind’ which debuted at Number Three on the iTunes US album chart. Recorded by long-term collaborators S*A*M* & Sluggo (Gym Class Heroes, Metro Station), ‘Sunshine State of Mind’ finds the band – frontman Travis Clark, guitarist Hunter Thomsen, bassist Drew Thomsen and drummer Danny Duncan – expanding their musical palette and demonstrating how recent years on the road with the likes of All Time Low and Forever The Sickest Kids have helped them further their own musical identity.

“A lot of bands say they get mature with each record, but with this record I feel like we’ve gone the opposite direction in a positive way,” explains Clark.

We The Kings have been documenting all of their recent activity and touring adventures by filming their own webisode series ‘The King’s Carriage’ which is hosted on Danny Duncan’s YouTube. The most recent episode looks back at their travels around Europe and can be seen below.
