New Jerseys finest, The Gaslight Anthem return this Summer with their brand new studio album, 'Handwritten'.
Recorded in Nashville with producer Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen) 'Handwritten' is an album full of anthemic, sing-a-long, heartfelt rock songs that will strike a chord with music fans the world over. From the upbeat hustle of lead single '45' which kicks off the record and the passionate heartbreak of 'Here Comes My Man' to the acoustic 'National Anthem', the album takes you on a musical road trip like no other.
The Gaslight Anthem have sold over 400,000 albums worldwide and have reached silver the UK with both of their critically acclaimed albums, 'The '59 Sound' and 'American Slang'.
The band return to the UK on June 11th for an intimate show at London's Koko in Camden Town. The show sold out in 20 minutes. They will also return this Summer for the Reading and Leeds festivals with further live shows to be announced shortly.
The new single '45' premiered on BBC Radio 1 last night on Zane Lowe’s show - the response to it was feverish so he played it 3 times! Straight after the plays on Zane’s show the track premiered online! Check it out below.
