New AC/DC Album 'One Or Two Years' Away From Release

Aussie rockers AC/DC have revealed that their hugely-anticipated new album is 'a couple of years' away from completion.

The legendary outfit, who delivered rock classics 'TNT' and 'Back in Black', have 15 studio albums under their belt – the latest being 2008's 'Black Ice'. But, they're still not resting, and are hoping to hit the studio very soon to start work on album #16 – and they reckon it's may only be 'a year or two' away.

Speaking to Classic Rock Magazine, guitarist Malcolm Young dismissed Brian Johnson's claims that something could be finished before the end of the year – but added: “You know what Brian's [Johnson] like. He just says things and then walks away. It’ll be a little while – a year or two anyway. I've been doing some jamming on some song ideas but I do that all the time, as do the rest of the band. We are still working. But we had a long rest between 'Stiff Upper Lip' and 'Black Ice', so I think we need a couple of years to recuperate and work on it a bit more.”
