Bluebell Unveil 'Cinderella' Video - Watch Now

Symphonic pop duo Bluebell have announced that they will released their debut double A-side single 'Normal Heights/Cinderella' on 11th June, via Killing Moon Limited – and have unveiled the brand new video for the 'Cinderella' now.

The brainchild of singer/songwriter Annabel Jones and producer/songwriter Charlie Westropp, Bluebell first emerged in the spring of 2011 when a free download of demo track ‘Normal Heights' immediately gained coverage across the blogosphere, picking up plays on BBC Introducing South and plaudits from the likes of The Guardian, Notion Magazine and Neon Gold.

A year on the song has been re-recorded and will be joined by new track ‘Cinderella'’for a official release. ‘Normal Heights' was mixed by Liam Howe (Lana Del Ray, Marina & The Diamonds) and is rapturous, euphoric pop at its best; exploding with a youthful exuberance that belies its intimate narrative. It’s a simple song of love and loss yet rich with addictive and adorable melodies, a masterstroke of strings, electronic texture and evocative vocals.

'Cinderella' is a different animal. An assured song full of pounding synths and heartfelt sentiments, taking its cues from as widely as Nine Inch Nails’ sinister stabs and the production and vocal styling of Imogen Heap; merging Annabel’s previous history in guitar bands with Charlie’s background in producing innovative dance and electronica. Their collaboration began in earnest last year; nurturing their unique sound from humble beginnings to fully formed left field pop.
