Liverpool-based rockers Sound of Guns have unveiled their controversial new music video for the single ‘Antarctica’ - you can check it out below.
Inspired by the Bafta award-winning film Fish Tank, synonymous with iconic British cinematography, the narrative-led video starring Laura Sibbick and Dan Burman (Pirates of the Caribbean, Snow White and the Huntsman), is based on a couple whose lives spiral down a harrowing hole of physical and emotional violence which magnifies as the story intensifies. The controversial subject of domestic abuse is approached head on in a rare and uncompromising piece of film.
Having been discovered by BBC Introducing, nominated for the 2011 XFM New Music Award and championed by Zane Lowe and Mary Anne Hobbs, the five piece recently performed to their biggest sold out headline show to date at Liverpool's O2 Academy to over 1,200 people. A busy summer sees plenty of live highlights including main stage slots at Lounge on The Farm, Chester Rocks, LeeFest, Y-Not and Cult Festivals. The band are currently on tour with The View - check the dates and details below to find tickets.
