Sir Elton John 'Never Felt As Excited' As He Does About Pnau Collaboration Album

Pop-rock superstar Sir Elton John has confessed that he’s never felt as ‘excited’ as he currently does for his forthcoming new album ‘Good Morning to the Night’, which is set to hit shelves later this month.

The new record will precede his forthcoming solo album ‘The Diving Board’, set for a February 2013 release. ‘Good Morning to the Night’ sees the talented musician working with Australian duo Pnau to reinterpret and re-fix tracks from John’s impressive back catalogue, something which the group have already taken to the live stage.

Speaking of the new project, John said: “I got in touch and told them they should leave Australia, which they did some time later. Like all these things, it's about waiting for the right combination of circumstances. There have been several attempts to remix my music before, but I've never felt as excited about the finished product as I do about these tracks with Pnau.”

He added: “We didn't give them any sort of deadline on this project but this summer seems like a great moment to release the album.”

Sir Elton John will be performing in London’s Wembly Arena on September 21st, for a one-off ‘Peace One Day’ show. Check the link below to find tickets.
