Eccentric pop superstar Lady Gaga has revealed that her next studio album will be called ‘ARTPOP’.
The singer, who is currently travelling the world on her ‘Born This Way Ball’ world tour, posted a picture to her Twitter page last week revealing a brand new arm tattoo of the word ‘ARTPOP’, complete with the caption ‘new ink new album’.
Speculation was rife following the post of the picture, though no-one was 100% sure what the word ‘ARTPOP’ had to do with the new record. However, all was revealed yesterday, as Lady Gaga confirmed 'ARTPOP' will be the title of the new record.
Gaga wrote via her Twitter once more: “Make sure when writing about my new album/project ‘ARTPOP’ that you CAPITALIZE the title, *its all in the details* good morning twitter!”
It’s believed that fans will have to wait until early 2013 to hear some new material, however, some lucky fans recived a taster of the new album in New York City recently after they bumped into Gaga getting into a car, from which the superstar reportedly proceeded to blast one of her new tracks.
